Venus in Fur at Herald Theatre

When Vanda (Morgana O'Reilly; Neighbours) arrives several hours late to her audition for a play based on a nineteenth-century erotic novel, the director, Thomas (Craig Hall; A Place to Call Home), is less than impressed. But Vanda's masterful performance flips the script on Thomas' expectation and turns the session into a sexy and dangerous tango for dominance between actress and director, woman and man. Dubbed "90 minutes of good, kinky fun" by the New York Times, this smash Broadway hit makes its New Zealand debut presented by Auckland Theatre Company.
