The NOLA Project Welcomes Four New Company Members

The NOLA Project theatre company is proud to announce the four newest members of our prestigious ensemble. Joining the current roster are 2015 inductees Sarah Chatelain, Kali Russell, Ashley Ricord Santos, and Michael Aaron Santos. These four individuals, representing actors, writers, directors, and stage managers have all made appearances or worked on several NOLA Project productions. We're honored to have them officially join our ranks as company members.

Artistic Director A.J. Allegra says, "These four are exemplary theatre artists with incredibly impressive credentials. I have had the pleasure to work with Kali for several years when she was my student at NOCCA. Sarah is one of the hardest working stage managers I know and has quickly become a staple of any NOLA Project production. And even though Michael and Ashley are often grouped together as a New Orleans theatrical "power couple," both of them stand out in their own right as talented actors, directors, teachers, and in Michael's case, an accomplished playwright. I can't wait to see what the future of The NOLA Project holds with these very worthy artists now aligned with us."

Kali Russell has performed with The NOLA Project previously in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo & Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo' s Nest. She has acted as assistant director on Twelfth Night and Robin Hood: Thief, Brigand.

Michael Aaron Santos has performed with The NOLA Project in Side Man (Big Easy Award), Poona, As You Like It, Art, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Ashley Ricord Santos has performed with The NOLA Project in Side Man (Big Easy Award) and directed company member Gabrielle Reisman's Taste and our production of Martin McDonagh's A Behanding in Spokane.

Sarah Chatelain has stage managed The NOLA Project productions of Oregon Trail, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Adventures in Wonderland, Camille, and Robin Hood: Thief, Brigand.

The four newest members of The NOLA Project join company members A.J.
