Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts will close the spring 2015 season with the marvelous mischievous musical "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", running May 8-23, 2015. Click below to watch highlights from the show, plus check out production photos here!

Based on the popular 1988 film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a Tony Award winning comedy musical that centers around two con men living on the French Riviera. Music and lyrics by Broadway veteran David Yazbek and a book by Jeffrey Lane.

In Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson more humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother's failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together only to find that this small French town isn't big enough for the two of them. They agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young female target, heiress Christine Colgate, wins and the other must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues that will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the very end!

Directed by Gary Rucker, the cast features Robert Pavlovich as Lawrence Jameson, Gary Rucker as Freddy Benson, Kayla Herrington as Christine Colgate, Louis Dudoussat as Andre Thibault, Elise Harvey as Muriel Eubanks and Kelly Fouchi as Jolene Oakes.

In the ensemble are: Jill Marie Kenyon, Christian Tarzetti, Katie Lynn Cotaya, Julieanne Natal, Rachel Morris, Sabrina Portwood, Charly Sparks, Rachel Vierck, Jesse Alan Forcha, Alan Payne, Stephen Kernion, Shawn Benoit, Dwayne Sepcich, and Joe Matherne.
