NOLA Voice Theatre to Stage UNTOLD NEW ORLEANS and ARSENIC AND OLD LACE This Summer
Fresh off the success of The Gretna Mainstreet New Music Theatre Festival in April, NOLA Voice Theatre, the City's only theatre troupe dedicated to the art and preservation of voice theatre, presents their first summer season of three monthly showcase productions benefitting the new Valiant Theatre and Lounge.
Show One begins with the first episode of the original series "Untold New Orleans," starring New Orleans theatre icon Edward R. Cox (*) as Monsieur Darque, "Keeper of the Secret Archives of New Orleans". Featured in this episode, "The Rougarou Murders" by Beverly Brooks and Vatican Lokey (*), and "The Ghosts of Le Petit Theatre" by Vatican Lokey (*). A 20-minute intermission is followed by Act Two, a full-scale recreation of one of the great productions from the Golden Age of Radio, Joseph Kesselring's "Arsenic and Old Lace." Also featured in Show One are Soline McLain (*), Alan Lee, KaRen Shields, Richard Mayer, William Lee, and Jessica Daigle, along with a supporting cast of upcoming New Orleans talents.
