LLT's BEEHIVE! Holds Two Final Performances, 11/6-7

By: Nov. 03, 2010

LLT's 50th season opened this past weekend with the hit off-Broadway revue BEEHIVE! and it will continue this upcoming weekend for two final performances on Saturday, November 6th at 8pm and Sunday, November 7th at 2pm.

The reservation line is open this week 24 hours a day at 428.0140.  Both of those performances are already over half way sold out, so don't wait to call in your reservation.

Single tickets for our musicals are $15 per person, but the very best deal is to become a season member and purchase the full season ticket for just $32 (seniors, students, couples and families get an even better price and that info is listed below.)   That season ticket gives you 4 punches to see each of our 4 productions of the year, resulting in a ticket price then averages JUST $8 A SHOW.  That's a 41% savings, giving you almost TWO SHOWS FOR FREE!   You can't even go to a movie for that great a price, so come on out and enjoy a live stage production!

*Single Ticket $15
*Adult Season Ticket with 4 punches $32
*Senior or Student Season Ticket with 4 punches $27
*Couple--2 Season Tickets with 4 punches on each of the two tickets $52
*Family--4 Season Tickets with 4 punches on all four of those tickets $82
*Patrons that help fund the season with amounts over the basic ticket price get a listing in each show program, season tickets included and can take a tax deduction

Remember when hair was hard and life was easy???  Big hair is back and so is the infectious 'shoo-be-do-wop-wop' sound of the 1960s.  Take 35 wailing women and add 1 hot band, 99 big wigs, 84 costumes, 25 cans of hairspray and more than 40 of the greatest 60's hits, and you get BEEHIVE!  THE 60's MUSICAL!  It's the hit Off-Broadway musical revue of pop songs by The Supremes, Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Aretha Franklin, Connie Francis, Patsy Cline, The Chiffons, Brenda Lee, Janis Joplin and many, many others.  BEEHIVE! has all the fringe, the sequins and the towering hair-dos that marked that decade, and if you see a haze in the air around the Arabian Theatre this week, it won't be smog.  It'll just be...Aquanet.  Directors Wess Hughes and Michelle Howells have a powerful cast that will knock your go-go boots off!  Get ready to sing "The Name Game"...Shirley, Shirley, bo birley, banana fanna fo firley, fee fi mo mirley...Shirley!!!

UPCOMING MOCKINGBIRD AUDITIONS
Directors Jennifer Coghlan and Adam Trest will be holding auditions for our second show of the season, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, on November 8th & 9th at the Arabian at 630pm.  They'll need a huge cast of all ages and all colors for this powerful drama.  No preparation necessary, just come on down and read for them.  Mail us back if you have any questions.
