The Tempest is an opera with music by American composer Joseph Summer and a libretto by Eve Summer, inspired by William Shakespeare's final play, receiving its world staged premiere presented by Teatro Grattacielo. The production explores memory, love, loss, and forgiveness, transforming Shakespeare's work into an intimate opera where dream and reality blur. The international cast includes Greek actress and singer Eleanna Finokalioti as Calypso, with the Teatro Grattacielo Orchestra under the musical direction of conductor Enrico Fagone. The production is directed by Stefanos Koroneos.
