My Brother Jake tells the story of Jake Barnsley, an Autistic theatre artist whose "inspiring" career contrasts sharply with that of his higher-needs twin brother, Ethan, who lives in Jake's shadow. As Jake's life begins to unravel, Ethan takes a stand for his own independence, leading to an impassioned bid for agency in their intertwined lives. This poignant narrative explores themes of identity, family dynamics, and the quest for self-acceptance. The play is written by Dave Osmundsen, a recipient of the Future of Playwriting Prize.
