Marcy at The Weehawken Water Tower

Marcy is a new play by Ruth Apolonia Zamoyta presented as part of Hudson Theatre Works' PlayWorks series of new play readings, followed by a talkback with the playwright. Marcy, a 60-year-old woman diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live, decides to donate her family's valuable lakefront property to charity, prompting her estranged siblings Colby and Little Jo to attempt to persuade her otherwise while a deadly incident from 40 years ago is gradually revealed. The play features Mikaela Kafka, Jenny Bacon, and Paul Murphy, and is directed by Michael Bias with sound design and music by Donald Stark, and stage management by Dawn D'Arrigo.
