Funny Girls at Clemans Theater for the Arts at Allen AME

Funny Girls is a one-woman show created and performed by Jennifer Childs, co-founder and producing artistic director of Philadelphia's 1812 Productions. The show is a celebration of the revolutionary women who transformed American comedy, bringing to life the comedic styles of icons such as Fanny Brice, Mae West, Phyllis Diller, Joan Rivers, and Gilda Radner. Childs performs with sharp wit and remarkable physical precision, exploring how these women helped redefine what women could do on stage and screen. The production features musical direction by Owen Robbins and is presented in the Clemans Theater's intimate cabaret setting.
