Nimbus Dance Presents Firebird & Other Sagas at Nimbus Arts Center | Following world premieres with the New Jersey Symphony at NJPAC, Samuel Pott’s Firebird and Dark Water return in encore performances that blend myth, movement, and multimedia design. Described by NJArts.net as “poignant and absorbing,” Firebird reimagines the classic tale through the eyes of a modern-day young woman, while Dark Water explores the elemental force of the ocean through a haunting score by Qasim Naqvi and immersive set design by Nicola López. Also on the program is Afterburner, a high-intensity contemporary work by guest choreographer Kristen Klein. These performances are presented with support from SILVERMAN, Spring Season Sponsor.
