Elephant Shoes is a new musical featuring a soaring contemporary score and an immersive blend of spoken English, ASL, and innovative stage technology, fully accessible in both languages. The story follows Cy, a deaf tech developer who becomes the voice behind every message his best friend Chris sends to Roxy, only to find himself falling for her as well. The book is by Ivan Menchell, music and lyrics are by Caroline Kay, and direction and choreography are by Jeff Calhoun. The cast includes Daniel Durant as Cy, Taylor Iman Jones as Roxy, James Olivas as Chris, Klea Blackhurst as Beverly/Mrs. Millner, and Antoinette Lori Abbamonte as Laurie, among others.
