Join Ballet Arts and the Adelphi Orchestra for a magical and timeless holiday tradition, The Nutcracker, returning to the stage at River Dell High School on Saturday, December 13th at 7 PM and Sunday, December 14th at 2 PM. This beloved production features a cast of nearly 50 talented dancers and the full, rich sound of a live orchestra under the baton of conductor Kyunghun Kim, bringing Tchaikovsky’s iconic score to life with warmth, color, and excitement.

This year’s production holds special significance as Ballet Arts prepares to celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2026, marking five decades of excellence in dance education and performance. At the same time, the Adelphi Orchestra proudly celebrates more than 70 years of musical artistry and community service. Together, these two longstanding Bergen County cultural institutions create an unforgettable holiday experience. Notably, this is the only Nutcracker production in Bergen County featuring a live orchestra, offering audiences a rare opportunity to enjoy the full magic of the music as Tchaikovsky intended.

Audiences will follow Clara and her brother Franz as they embark on an enchanting adventure filled with sparkling snowflakes, the regal Snow Queen, waltzing flowers, dancing marzipan, and, of course, the radiant Sugar-Plum Fairy. This year’s performances will also spotlight Hoyeon Kim, a student at the American Ballet Theatre’s prestigious Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, in the role of the Nutcracker Prince—bringing fresh energy and exceptional artistry to this cherished role.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness a fresh take on a classic ballet, performed with live symphonic accompaniment and stunning choreography.

Performances will take place at River Dell High School, 55 Pyle Street, Oradell, NJ. Tickets are available at www.BalletArtsNJ.com. For more information, call 201-970-7690.
