Valentine Doo-Wop is coming to the Bergen Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 11th featuring Fred Parris & The Satins, The Return of the Brooklyn Bridge, Shirley Alston Reeves and more of your favorite doo wop groups.

Fred Parris and The Satins are best known for their song, "In the Still of the Night", which remains the definitive doo wop love song, and has frequently topped New York oldies giant WCBS-FM's fan survey for greatest record of all time.

The Return of The Brooklyn Bridge, known for its strong vocals and horn arrangements, released its debut album in 1969, scoring a top five hit and a gold record with “The Worst that Could Happen”. By 1972, the Brooklyn Bridge had sold over 10 million records and established Johnny Maestro as one of the premier vocal talents of the era. In 2005, the Brooklyn Bridge was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.

Hall of Famer Shirley Alston Reeves, co-founder and original lead vocalist for The Shirelles, will perform their all time favorites including Tonight's The Night (penned by Reeves), Baby It's You, the soulful sounding This Is Dedicated To The One I Love, Foolish Little Girl, and, of course, the group's 5 million selling hit, Soldier Boy.

Rounding out the bill are The Capris (“Moon Out Tonight”, “Morse Code Of Love”), Vito Picone & The Elegants (“Little Star”) and The Original Chimes (“Once In A While”, “To The Aisle”). The evening is hosted by radio personality Alan David Stein, host of Doo Wop Drive on WMTR AM.

Valentine Doo-Wop, presented by Rrazz Entertainment, at the Bergen Performing Arts Center, 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood, N.J. on Saturday, February 11th. Showtime is 8 pm. Tickets can be purchased by calling (201) 227-1030 or online at www.bergenpac.org.
