Two River Theater Appoints Three New Board Members

Two River Theater has appointed three new Board Members highlighting a distinguished and versatile group of individuals. Joining Two River’s Board of Directors are Courtney McCormick, Senior Vice President, Audit, Enterprise Risk and Compliance at PSEG; Adriana Medina Gomez Community Engagement Coordinator of the Borough of Red Bank; and Sean O’Connell, Director of Medical Writing at Kyowa Kirin. Along with Two River’s existing Board Members, their collective vision and commitment will ensure the continued growth and vitality of the theater’s cultural programming.

Courtney McCormick

M. Courtney McCormick is Senior Vice President, Audit, Enterprise Risk and Compliance at PSEG.

Prior to that, Ms. McCormick served as Vice President - Renewables and Energy Solutions. She was President of the Executive Women of New Jersey from 2022 to 2024. She acts as Chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee on the board of trustees of Hackensack Meridian Health. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board of the Rutgers Law School Center for Corporate Law and Governance. Before joining PSEG, Ms. McCormick practiced law at King & Spalding LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop LLP. She holds an undergraduate degree from Barnard College and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law. She is admitted to the state bars of New York and New Jersey.
 

Adriana Medina Gomez

Adriana is a passionate community engagement professional based in Red Bank. She currently serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Borough of Red Bank. Adriana served as the first Director of Community Engagement at the Count Basie Center for the Arts. Earlier in her career, Adriana worked with the American Friends Service Committee providing free legal support to immigrant families, survivors of domestic violence, and essential workers. She co-founded the nation’s first free virtual legal clinic for DACA recipients and helped deliver emergency financial aid to families most in need. Adriana proudly serves on nonprofit boards and community advisory committees across Monmouth and Ocean counties. Across her work in government, nonprofits, and the arts, Adriana remains committed to cultural equity, language justice, and meaningful grassroots engagement. She believes in the transformative power of the arts and public service to unite people and strengthen communities, and she’s proud to bring that perspective to the board of Two River Theater.
 

Sean O’Connell

Sean is a pharmacist (Rutgers College of Pharmacy, 1982) with a career spanning more than four decades in pharmaceutical development. Currently, he serves as the Director of Medical Writing at Kyowa Kirin, a Japanese pharmaceutical and biotechnology company. Kyowa Kirin is recognized for its commitment to developing innovative treatments for orphan diseases, including conditions such as X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH) and mycosis fungoides/Sézary syndrome. In addition to his professional achievements, Sean continues to be an ardent supporter and patron of the Two River Theater (TRT) since 2012. He values the significant contributions that the TRT has made to the community and expresses a desire to play an expanding role in our organization’s initiatives.
