bergenPAC's on-sales this week coincide with the announcement of the 2016-2017 Classical Arts Series with subscription services. For a low annual subscription fee of $20, Cultural Arts Series subscribers receive the following benefits:

· 20% discount on series ticket prices

· priority seating for select performances

· VIP support-contact Subscription Manager directly for assistance

· advance notice- receive advanced email notices of new shows added before the general public

· easy ticket exchanges- exchange tickets for series' performances free of charge for up to 24 hours prior to performance

Guidelines for the subscription service are as follows: Subscription fee does not include cost of tickets. COMPLEXIONS Dance Company

Founded by the two former Alvin Ailey members, Complexions' groundbreaking mix of methods, styles, cultures has created an entirely new and exciting vision of human movement over the past decade-and-a-half. Hailed as two of the most gorgeous virtuosos ever to emerge from Ailey Land, (Tobi Tobias, New York Magazine), Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson had a vision for sharing their common appreciation for diversity and multiculturalism through dance. Group and individual artistic and spiritual growth was the catalyst for this creative process. This wunderkind, this blossoming of an idea was born in 1994 and was appropriately called Complexions.

Complexions Contemporary Ballet celebrates excellence in dance. It provokes thought and inspires impassioned performance with the finest dancers in a full range of disciplines. Complexions performs for audiences worldwide, educate, cultivate talent, and champion diversity as America's original multi-cultural Dance Company. Whether it be the limiting traditions of a single style, period, venue, or culture, Complexions transcends them all, creating an open, continually evolving form of dance.

SEONG JIN-CHO

Seong-Jin Cho was brought to the world's attention in October 2015 when he won First Prize at the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. Four years before he had won Third Prize at the Tchaikovsky competition, aged only 16. In September, 2008 at the age of 14, he won the First prize at the sixth Moscow International Frederick Chopin Competition. In November, 2009 he won the First prize at the seventh Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan (youngest winner in its history).With his overwhelming talent and natural musicality, Seong-Jin Cho is rapidly embarking on a world-class career and is considered one of the most distinctive artists of his generation.

Seong-Jin Has performed with some of the world's major orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Mariinsky Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Radio France Philharmonic, NHK Symphony Orchestra, under renowned conductors such as Myung-Whun Chung, Lorin Maazel, Marek Janowski, Mikhail Pletnev, Valery Gergiev, and Vladimir Ashkenazy.

Luis Bravo'S FOREVER TANGO

Forever Tango celebrates the passionate music and dance of Argentina, with world-class Argentine Tango couples. The dances, performed to original and traditional music, are the result of collaboration between each couple and director/creator, Luis Bravo accompanied by an orchestra featuring the instrument of the tango, the bandoneón, a 19th century accordion.

Mr. Bravo attended both the Municipal Conservatory of Music Manuel De Falla and the University of Buenos Aires. Shortly after his graduation, he became a member of the Argentine National Symphony, a position he held until he moved to United States to study with the celebrated teacher Ronald Leonard. His engagements have included the Colón Theatre Opera House, Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute Orchestra, and more.

NEW JERSEY BALLET'S NUTCRACKER

Nothing says "holiday magic" better than gathering up the family and spending an afternoon visiting with Clara and her amazing Nutcracker. For more than half a century, New Jersey Ballet has brought the Nutcracker ballet to families for a cherished holiday tradition. The first-rate traditional production never fails to enchant youngsters and grownups alike with splendid dancing, colorful costumes and scenery, eye-popping special effects, and a touch of holiday magic that inspires critics to applaud "a spectacle that never seems to age...magic that should go on and on," and "One of the best...as good as it gets."

VIENNA BOYS CHOIR

No group of child musicians has more renown than the incomparable Wiener Sangerknaben, founded by Emperor Maximilian I in 1498. Six centuries later, the famed Vienna Boys Choir continues to delight music-lovers across the globe with purity of tone, distinctive charm and a diverse, crowd pleasing repertoire that encompasses Austrian folk songs and waltzes, classical masterpieces, beloved pop songs, holiday favorites and medieval chant. Gifted musicians with voices of unforgettable beauty carry on the illustrious tradition as the world's preeminent boys choir.

JUNCTION JCT

Three renowned visionary artists of the next generation combine talents in this eclectic new piano trio, JCT (pronounced 'junction'). Stefan Jackiw, recognized for musicianship that combines poetry and purity with an impeccable technique joins violinist Stefan Jackiw and cellist Jay Campbell to bring together their diverse musical backgrounds and commitment to a prolific array of repertoire. JCT's different career paths and focuses have led them to create a program both intense and playful. Tao, who appears worldwide as a pianist and composer, has been dubbed a musician of "probing intellect and open-hearted vision" by The New York Times. Approaching both old and new works with the same curiosity and emotional commitment, Campbell has been called "electrifying" by The New York Times.

SHARON ISBIN

Acclaimed as "the pre-eminent guitarist of our time", multiple GRAMMY Award winner Sharon Isbin has appeared as soloist with over 170 orchestras and given sold-out performances in the world's finest halls. Her 2015 PBS television performances include the Billy Joel Gershwin Prize, Tavis Smiley, and the acclaimed one-hour documentary Sharon Isbin: Troubadour seen by millions on over 200 PBS stations across the US.

THE IRISH TENORS WITH MEMBERS OF THE NEW JERSEY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The Irish Tenors powerful vocal line-up of Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns and Ronan Tynan are unquestionably the leading brand of this genre. All classically trained singers, each having performed in leading concert halls across the world, together they combine to produce a sound and concert experience which touches hearts and stirs the emotions. Happy songs of celebration and humor, mixed with touching melodies and songs that warm the heart.

The Irish Tenors have been touring together since 1998, with sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, and major concert halls throughout the world. Their faces and voices are familiar to PBS audiences through several specials, including the "Ellis Island" recordings that sold a million CDs and DVDs. HOUSTON BALLET II'S SLEEPING BEAUTY ACT III

Sleeping Beauty is recognized as one of the supreme achievements of classical ballet. The ballet is based on the classic French fairy tale by Charles Perrault: a beautiful princess is cursed by an evil fairy and doomed to sleep for 100 years - only to be awakened by the kiss of the handsome prince who loves her. Act III includes many classic fairytale scenes including the famous Aurora's Wedding pas de deux, Blue Bird, Puss-n-Boots and a pas de quatre.

Representing the Second Company of the acclaimed Houston Ballet, America's fourth largest ballet company, this ensemble of exceptionally talented young dancers, ages 15 to 20, brings accomplished professionalism to each performance, having toured throughout Texas, nationally and abroad. Significant talent emanates from within, and many of the outstanding young "up and comers" will soon "graduate" on to prestigious international companies such as San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, as well as Houston Ballet and beyond.

Alisa Weilerstein & Inon Barnatan

Cellist Alisa Weilerstein's passion, commitment and breathtaking technique combined with undeniable musicianship make her one of today's most exciting artists. Inon Barnatan is a true poet of the keyboard: refined, searching, and unfailingly communicative. His sincerity and expressiveness brings audiences into each phrase. Together, these two artists offer an alluring and passionate musical event not to be missed with works by Beethoven, Britten, Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Bernstein, de Falla, and Britten.

This story of unrequited love, betrayal, madness, revenge and forgiveness is the most famous, revered and enduring of all the Romantic ballets. NEW JERSEY BALLET'S CINDERELLA

The girl who loses a dancing shoe and finds true love is warming her pumpkin coach for a tour of New Jersey this spring. This popular children's ballet includes all the characters you know and love: the short-tempered stepmother, silly stepsisters, a magical Fairy Godmother, a ballroom full of swirling dancers, a handsome prince and a grandfather clock whose hours come to life as the midnight hour draws near. The classic fairy tale comes to life with lavish sets and costumes, performed with New Jersey Ballet's original "storyteller" narration so little children can follow the story.
