The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey has announced the election of Edward J. Yaw, Ed.D of Convent Station, New Jersey and Edward C. Leithead, III of Chatham, New Jersey to its Board of Trustees. Dr. Yaw and Mr. Leithead join a group of twenty two distinguished community volunteers in their new governance roles as Trustees. Dr. Edward J. Yaw was appointed to the position of President Emeritus of County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey effective September 2106. He has been with the County College of Morris since 1980 and assumed the role of President in 1986. Mr. Leithead and his wife Marybeth are longtime patrons of The Shakespeare Theatre and have been active in leadership roles with The Far Brook. They have two children, Annie, a sophomore at the Pingry School and Teddy, a junior at Dartmouth College.

"Both Ed Leithead and Ed Yaw bring to our Board tremendous enthusiasm for the Theatre and its mission," staTEd Thomas Keffer, Board President. "In addition, we will benefit from Dr. Yaw's long history as an education leader, and Ed Leithead's expertise in corporate management and financial matters."

Bonnie J. Monte, the company's Artistic Director, added, "Both Ed's will bring unique perspectives and talents to our Board, and we are thrilled they are joining us as we prepare to launch some very exciting new initiatives and campaigns for the Theatre."
