Charles Condomine, a novelist, is re-married but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira. As personalities clash, Charles' current wife Ruth joins Elvira and the two "blithe spirits" haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity.
The talented cast of BLITHE SPIRIT features D.M. Farley as Charles, Maura Jarve as Ruth, and Ginny Miles as Elvira. Heidi Dugan plays the mysterious medium Madame Arcati, Laura Farley is Edith the maid, and Hank Chandless and Patty Davis are Dr. and Mrs. Bradman. For over 65 years Cumberland Players has grown from a small community theatre group into an enthusiastic organization of theatre-lovers. The organization strives to promote the study of theatre while providing the public with an opportunity to enjoy quality, community theatre at affordable prices. The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Sherman Avenue and The Boulevard in Vineland, NJ. This show is produced in part with funding from the Cumberland County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
