The Art House Board of Trustees Hosts Summer Gala
The Art House Board of Trustees with sponsorship from SILVERMAN, CoolVines and CarePoint Health, Morlees, and LQ Strategies cordially invite you to join us for a glamorous midsummer party honoring Tony-nominated writer, poet, educator and Jersey City native, Reg E. Gaines. The event will raise necessary funds for Art House's youth theater education programs, Stages! and Say Word?! Cocktails Under the Stars will feature specialty cocktails, wine & beer, performances, and hors d'oeuvres.

Reg E Gaines, a Jersey City native, is an author, playwright, director, two-time Tony Award nominee, Grammy nominee, and Bessie Award winner for Best Book/Lyrics for the Broadway hit "Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk." He's also an educator and teaches writing, spoken word and poetry workshops across the county. See the video to see him in action working with youth.
At Cocktails Under the Stars, Gaines will be will be performing two songs from his upcoming musical in development.Join us on Thursday, July 27th from 6:00 PM 'til 11:00PM and DRINK FOR A PURPOSE. Help us raise crucial funds to move into Cast Iron Lofts!
After months of unanticipated delays, we are very excited to get back to providing you with cutting-edge arts programming this fall, but we need to install a lighting grid, hire a master electrician, and pay moving fees.
