TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD Comes to the Eagle Theatre, Closes 9/18
The Second and Vine Players will perform the well-known drama To Kill a Mockingbird at the Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Downtown Hammonton, at 8pm on September 9, 10, 16 and 17, and 2pm on September 11 and 18.
A staple of American literature classes, Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird was published in 1960. The award winning film followed only two years later to widespread critical acclaim, and has since been recognized as a one of the greatest films of the century.
This staged adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird captures the same sense of struggle and strength under fire that viewers will recall from both the novel and the original filM. Starring talented actors and actresses from around the region, including Joe Cooper as Atticus Finch and Gabriella Pergeorelis as the tomboyish Scout, this stirring performance is a must-see.
Tickets for this performance are $18 for adults and $16 for seniors and children 12 and under. They can be purchased at TheEagleTheatre.com.
