Swingin' Sinatra Musical Event Honors New Jersey Gold Star Mothers A swingin' musical lunchtime event celebrating the song stylings of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, was held on Sunday, May 6, 2018, from Noon to 3pm, at the Chauncey Hotel & Conference Center, 1 Chauncey Road, Princeton, NJ, 08541.
This musical event, produced by Karen Morris of Sand Castle Communications, was planned to commemorate the anniversary of Mr. Sinatra's passing upcoming on May 14th, 1998.

The event also honored a few very special attendees. Three New Jersey Gold Star Mothers attended the musical soiree and even danced in a chorus line to the song "New York, New York" sung by the talented Sinatra vocalist Jesse Posa, along with Joe Perce, a remarkable Dean Martin imitator, and special guest star Kristi Coombs, who wowed the crowd with her lovely Marilyn Monroe performance.

Producer Karen Morris is a longtime fan of both Mr. Sinatra and Mr. Martin, as well as a supporter of our troops and Veterans. When asked about the event Ms. Morris replied, "I planned this tribute to honor the 20th anniversary of Frank Sinatra's passing, but also invited a few Gold Star Mothers to enjoy the festivities! And they danced in a chorus line in our finale! What a nice tribute!"

A mix of live music, tasty food, free prize giveaways and a few surprises rounded out the afternoon.

The stars of the luncheon show are entertainers who perform popular songs from the Rat Pack era in venues throughout the NY/NJ/CT area and beyond.
Jesse Posa (aka Frank Sinatra) and Joe Perce (aka Dean Martin) have been delighting audiences as a Rat Pack Duo with their humorous antics and combined chemistry for over a decade.

Jesse Posa is one of the leading Frank Sinatra impersonators, having performed as "Frank Sinatra" on stage at Radio City Music Hall, in the off-Broadway production of "Sinatra and Friends" and at BB King's in Times Square NYC in "Party with The Rat Pack."

Joe Perce has been portraying the "King of Cool" for over 20 years, finely imitating Dean Martin's relaxed, smooth persona. With a background of diverse acting credits in theater, film and television, Mr. Perce channels Dean Martin convincingly.

Special Guest Star Kristi Coombs made her Broadway debut at the age of 11 playing Young Norma Jean in Marilyn, An American Fable. Her theatrical career spans decades in show business, having entertained in the famous Legends in Concert. She is a consummate professional and delivers an enticing Marilyn Monroe performance with delicacy and humor.

During the three hour lunch event an Italian style buffet lunch was served, while the entertainment continued.

In addition, a variety of free prizes were given to a few lucky attendees, including the Ultimate Sinatra CD, the book Sinatra in Hollywood by Tom Santopietro, the book Sessions With Sinatra by Chuck Granata, and a cookbook and pasta sauce by Chef Sal of Patsy's Italian Restaurant.
