Seabrook House Foundation to Host 19th Annual Fall Golf Classic, Today

By:

GALLOWAY, N.J., Aug. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ The Seabrook House Foundation will host its 19th Annual Fall Golf Classic on September 18th, 2015 at the Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, NJ. Proceeds from this event benefit the Patient Care Fund.

The Patient Care Fund was created in 2001 to help fulfill the Seabrook House vision to "make recovery possible for every family who needs it." The fund provides financial support to adult residential men and women patients who are committed to the standards of full recovery, which consists of a minimum 28 days length of stay at Seabrook House. Based on specific criteria, qualifying patients receive supplemental funds from the Seabrook House Foundation to ensure that they receive the highest quality of addiction treatment. To date, the Patient Care Fund has contributed over $2 million to the treatment of over 374 patients.

The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. with registration and a putting contest, followed by the shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Throughout the day, golfers will compete for the lowest scores, longest driver, straightest driver and closest to the pin. After a day filled with golf and fellowship, Seabrook House will host a dinner reception and awards presentation.

"The Golf Classic at the Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club is an extraordinary experience. We look forward to another amazing event, the overwhelming support of our community and the satisfaction of raising crucial funds for New Jersey families struggling to overcome addiction," says Seabrook House President, Ed Diehl.

This event would not be a success without the support of our sponsors and golfers. For questions regarding sponsorship or registration, please contact Stephanie Shoemaker at (856) 455-7575 ext. 1050 or sshoemaker@seabrookhouse.org.
