Sandy Duncan to Star in CREATING CLAIRE at George Street Playhouse, 5/11-6/6

Beginning May 11th, Sandy Duncan will star in Creating Claire, written by Joe DiPetro. David Saint will direct the production which will run through June 6th at George Street Playhouse.  To purchase tickets, visit www.gsponline.org. 

Employed as a docent at a Natural History Museum, Claire (Duncan) comes under fire when her tour guide patter deviates from the strict scientific beliefs of her formidable supervisor and heads down a more spiritual path.

Among Duncan's more prominent roles are the title role in the Broadway production of Peter Pan, and Sandy Hogan on the sitcom The Hogan Family.  Duncan received Tony Award nominations for her roles in The Boyfriend, Canterbury Tales, and Peter Pan. She also appeared last year in the City Center Encores! production of No, No, Nanette.

Under the leadership of Artistic Director David Saint, George Street Playhouse is a nationally recognized theatre, presenting an acclaimed mainstage season while providing an artistic home for established and emerging theatre artists.
