By:

A Fourth of July tradition returns to the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre stage with Stars 'n Stripes, a Salute to America's Greatest Composers. Set for three performances, Stars 'n Stripes will be performed on Friday, July 4, Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 7:30 pm.

Conceived by Open Air Theatre Artistic Directors, Louis Palena and Jordan Brennan, Stars 'n Stripes is billed as a celebration of America and Americans. The two hour musical revue salutes America's greatest composers and includes songs that reflect the American experience. All of the greats are represented including memorable tunes from Rodgers and Hart, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Rodgers and Hammerstein and more. There's no better way to celebrate the birthday of our country than to hear the music that has inspired patriotism in generations of Americans.

The Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre production of Stars 'n Stripes will be performed on Friday, July 4, Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6 at 7:30 pm. Tickets to shows at the Open Air Theatre can be purchased at the Box Office one half hour prior to any performance. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (ages 12 and under).
