SOUTHERN COMFORTS Opens at the Bickford Theatre 11/20
By: Faetra Petillo
SOUTHERN COMFORTS, an Off Broadway hit, will come to New Jersey on Thursday, November 20, at 8 PM.
When a feisty Tennessee grandmother sweeps into the life of a set-in-his-ways retiree from Morris County, NJ, sparks are bound to fly. Through a thunderstorm, baseball game, and church socials, they find each other and fall in love. This charming, funny, and very romantic romp stars NJ theatre favorites Michele LaRue and Jerry Marino (Broadway's Tony Award-winning "A View from the Bridge"). A valentine to autumnal romance, "SOUTHERN COMFORTS" is as refreshing as a cool glass of iced tea on a hot summer's day!Runs November 20 through December 14 at the Bickford Theatre, 6 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown NJ. Performances are Thursday thru Saturday at 8 PM, Sunday at 2 PM. Extra Saturday matinee on November 29 at 2 PM replaces Thursday, November 27, at 8 PM. Tickets are $35 to $15 and be purchased by calling the Bickford Theatre Box Office at 973-971-3706 or visiting www.bickfordtheatre.org.
