"The Robot Slaves Black Sabbath Show" is proud to announce a special performance at The Third Annual "Dimebag Darrell" Birthday Bash at Dingbatz on Saturday, August 21. "The Robot Slaves Black Sabbath Show" performs high intensity renditions of Black Sabbath Classics. They do not replicate or duplicate and they most certainly do not impersonate. They are enslaved by the music. They are enslaved by the band that created it. They deliver the Sabbath high, hard and heavy in a manor in which they believe their masters would approve. Also performing will be Dimebag, the NYC Pantera Tribute, and exZAKKed, the Black Label Society Tribute.

Dingbatz is located at 620 Van Houten Avenue in Clifton, New Jersey. Showtime is 9pm, doors open at 8pm. Admission is $10.00. This show is 21 & over.

Band Bio: In The Spring of 2009 the original members of Robot Slaves assembled, rehearsed and debuted at what was scheduled to be a one time performance, a twelve cut, power set of Black Sabbath classics delivered with the accent on intensity. The tribute project was the brainchild of Rockland County based guitarist Chuck Wales and front-man/singer/songwriter John Cameron. The two recruited quick sticked Drummer Jim Demaria of "Riphouse" and "Poois" fame, as well as bass player and Jersey native Patrick Heeney. Heeney quickly became enamored with the simple, yet ingenious and elegant compositions of Sabbath legend Geezer Butler. Meanwhile vocalist John Cameron who had been absent from the music scene since the late 90's began to rediscover his range and power as he delved deeper into the catalogue of Ozzys soaring repertoire. Although neither Heeney nor Cameron had any true background in heavy music (Cameron's stint in 90s local original hard rock band "Hedflower" was as close as either came) they had both been captured by the magic and mystique of the "Godfathers of Metal"

The band gigged, rehearsed and added material until trouble reared its head in Winter 09. Disagreements and family obligations severed the band in half leaving Heeney and Cameron at a crossroads. Unwilling to let go, Cameron reached out to some of Rockland's local legends and scored on his first two shots. Drummer, Joseph R Holland III of ubiquitous party band "Ten Fingers" jumped at the opportunity to interpret Bill Wards Frenetic mastery of the drums. He proved a quick study. Holland and Heeney had now solidified the bottom end of what has come to be known as The Robot Slaves Black Sabbath Show. The "Slaves" were eager to perform and the search for a guitarist who could do justice to Tony Iomis wizardry and do so quickly, proved fruitful. Six string slinging Lou Lehman joined the slaves in January 2010. Along with his Gibson SG, Lehman brought to the band some true metal credibility. Currently a member of thrash metal act "Generation Kill" which is fronted by Exodus screamer Rob Dukes, Lou Lehman's history of heavy spans decades. He thrashed and trashed his way through the 90's with death metal dealers "Mutilation" and rabid rockers "Bad Seed".More info: www.myspace.com/robotslaves
