The Player's Guild of Leonia revives a tradition of family fun designed for kids of all ages! Young and old alike will enjoy this year's production of the Prince and the Pauper performed in the hilarious Commedia Del Arte style!

The travelling troupe - Columbina, Isabella, Punchin, and Arlequino - cracks open their big book of stories to share Mark Twain's tale of The Prince and the Pauper. This twist on the classic story of mixed-identity is ripe with physical comedy, clowning, antics, and sight gags! This story is especially well-suited for hysterics and commedia charm with our players pretending to be other people... who are pretending to be somebody else themselves! Four actors play over twenty roles- but not without mishaps and upsets- all designed to get the audience laughing at the antics of these "not so perfect" actors!

This production is the perfect show to introduce your young children to the joy of live theater. The show is designed to accommodate families of all ages who will laugh and marvel at the clever gags and story lines. The perfect setting for family fun!
