Hilarious take on the classic tale of Cinderella where we are reminded that kindness makes all the difference in life. We see the bullying, cruel Wicked Stepmother and Stepsisters, a sweet and kind-hearted Cinderella, a forgetful Fairy Godmother fresh out of Wizarding School that needs a little help from the audience from time to time, and we discover that even those that appear to have every advantage in life can have moments of loneliness and fear. The tale explores the finer points of what it is to be human and the need for connection, love, forgiveness, the courage to ask for help, and a little practical magic. This beloved story is a gentle reminder that kindness can change everything. This is an interactive play where the characters often address and include the audience and the children have the opportunity to meet the actors after every performance. Recommended for children ages 3 and up. Children under the age of 3 (including sleeping babies) not allowed in the theater.
The production is directed by Danitra Faithe. The cast includes Olivia Moonblood, Estelle Lee, Steve Carlsen, Dell Cherry, Devan Mickell Gallagher, Peter Sorisi, and Ryan Kay.
