Share an intimate evening downtown with Petula Clark at the Tarrytown Music Hall on September 24th.  The most commercially success female singer in British chart history, Clark embarked on her career at the tender age of 7 and first tasted the limelight during World War II when she entertained the troops. By the time she was 11 she was a fixture on British television and was dubbed "The British Shirley Temple".

Riding the wave of the British invasion in the 1960s, Clark penetrated the U.S. markets with the Grammy winning, 'Downtown', which rocketed to top of the charts making Clark the first British woman to reach #1 on the pop charts.  This was followed by "This Is My Song", "I Know A Place," "My ... MoreLove", "I Couldn't Live Without Your Love", "Don't Sleep In The Subway", "Color My World", "A Sign Of The Times"  and "Kiss Me Goodbye".  Clark's success can be measured in the 70 million records she has sold around the world.

Clark also appeared in the movies, Finian's Rainbow starring opposite Fred Astaire and Goodbye Mr. Chips with Peter O'Toole, and on the stage on London's West End in the revival of Sound of Music and on Broadway starring with David Cassidy in the musical, Blood Brothers.
Over the years she has been involved with charities.  This performance is a charity event benefitting the ASPCA.
