By: Lauren Wolman
Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) is proud to announce the newest addition to the theater's diverse Theatre School offerings, The Paper Mill Playhouse Adult Chorale.
Members of this company will participate in ensemble singing as they explore the world of American popular music. The Adult Chorale will meet from 7:30-9:00pm on Monday evenings, for ten weeks, beginning September 12, 2011. The cost to participate in this program is only $99. No audition is required, but participants must be at least 16 years of age. The semester will end with a showcase and other performance opportunities will be available to participants. Holiday songs, contemporary music, standards and Broadway tunes will be part of the repertoire. "For those with a love of choral singing, The Paper Mill Playhouse Adult Chorale is a wonderful opportunity," says Mickey McNany, Paper Mill Playhouse Theatre School Director. "This latest addition to our Theatre School schedule provides a chance for people of all ages to celebrate the beauty of choral performance."
