NJ REP Presents The Housewives of Mannheim 4/16 - 5/17

By:

The New Jersey Repertory Company located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch is proud to present the world-premiere of The Housewives of Mannheim a compelling new drama by Alan Brody, April 16 thru May 17.

The Housewives of Mannheim takes place in an apartment house in Flatbush, one of those extended middle-class communities that were common in the 1940's before the flight to the suburbs. It's the story of three women, two of whose husbands are overseas fighting in the war. When a refugee from occupied Paris moves into the building, the women discover who they are without their husbands' identification, and they find in themselves a whole new capacity for love, generosity, betrayal, reconciliation and friendship.

Directed by Suzanne Barabas, the play stars Alexandra Eitel, Natalie Mosco, Wendy Peace, and Corey Tazmania.
