Morris Choral Society Celebrates Spring with GREATEST HITS FROM OPERA AND BROADWAY this May

The Morris Choral Society Announces its 2019 Spring Concert "Greatest Hits from Opera and Broadway" will take place Saturday May 18 at 8PM and Sunday May19 at 3PM at the historic United Methodist Church on the Green in Morristown, New Jersey.

MCS Music Director Jason Tramm will lead the distinguished Morris Choral Society, now in its 45th season, and featured soloist soprano Susanne Burgess in a concert of unforgettable works by Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, Wagner, Offenbach and Mascagni. Hits from the Broadway stage include medleys from Bernstein's West Side Story and selections from Phantom of the Opera, A Little Night Music, Hello Dolly, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, Crazy for You and Chorus Line. Shows will take place on Saturday, May 18 at 8:00 PM and on Sunday, May 19 at 3:00 PM at United Methodist Church on the Green 50 S. Park Place in Morristown New Jersey. The MCS is funded in part by the Arts Council of the Morris Area through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
