Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce Hosts Big Band Extravaganza 3/12

The Hilton Short Hills ballroom will be the setting for a Big Band Night on Friday evening March 12th featuring John Nobile's Summer Swing Orchestra. The event is being sponsored by the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce and Investors Savings Bank, the Chamber's Principal Leading sponsor.

Guests will enjoy the rich, full sounds of a 17-piece Big Band, complementary dancing lessons, a wine tasting, courtesy of Gary's Wine and Marketplace in Bedminster, a buffet dinner and a spectacular live auction as well as a ticket auction.

Auction items will include a celebratory case of boutique vintage wines from the private collection of Ralph Tarnofsky, wine enthusiast and owner of Professional Audio Consultants; four orchestra seats to the Paper Mill Playhouse's Opening Night performance of Smokey Joes's Café and a post-show celebration with the cast; a round of golf at Canoe Brook Country Club, hosted by Investors Savings Bank and an original print "Devil's Loop Line" by artist Tom Mosser signed by the 2007-2008 New Jersey Devils players and staff.


Additional auction items include gift certificates for some of the Township's most unique boutiques and restaurants as well as gift certificates for The Mall at Short Hills. Also up for auction will be a one week stay at a private vacation home in Scottsdale Arizona.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. The cost of tickets is $79.00 per person or $700 for a table of ten.
