Michael DuBois to Bring THE SOLO CIRCUS to Centenary Stage, 2/2

By:

Michael DuBois has been performing for over eight years with national appearances on The Tonight Show and The Jay Leno Show and now he's coming to the Sitnik Theater in the David and Carol Lackland Center to put on a one-man circus show that will keep audiences on The Edge of their seats. The Centenary Stage Company continues their Family Fun Series on Saturday, February 2nd at 2pm in the Sitnik Theater of the David and Carol Lackland Center with Michael DuBois' show, The Solo Circus.

This show is a fast-paced, audience interactive variety show featuring an all-original presentation of magic, juggling, mind tricks, and circus and sideshow stunts all wrapped in a blanket of comedy made for adults just as much as it is for the younger members of the family. DuBois has been featured in several magazines, performed at over 500 colleges and universities across the U.S., and headlines multiple major cruise lines all over the world.

"I fell in love with the circus when I was four at Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey," said DuBois. This circus act is like no other which incorporates suspenseful tricks and high energy physical feats and keeps the audience laughing from beginning to end. DuBois will also be accompanied by accomplished aerialist and contortionist Viktoria Grimmy. Grimmy has been on tour with Britney Spears, has performed with Ringling Brothers and Big Apple Circus, and will soon be featured on Broadway.

To purchase tickets or to find more information on other CSC events, visit www.centenarystageco.org or call the CSC box office at (908) 979-0900. Tickets for the Family Fun Series' shows range from $17.50-$20 in advance and $22.50-$25 at the door. Workshops are available for all shows for an additional $18.50 a person, limit of 50 people. The Family Fun Series - sponsored by Fulton Bank - will also feature The Catskill Puppet Theatre's performance, The Lion's Whiskers on April 13.

The Centenary Stage Company is a not-for-profit professional Equity theatre in residence at Centenary College dedicated to serving as a cultural resource for audiences of the Skylands Region with professional music, theatre and dance events and arts education programs throughout the year.
