McCarter Celebrates the Holidays with the Return of Bach's Brandenburgs and Handel's Messiah

Music lovers will be celebrating early this year, as two of McCarter's most popular events return to Princeton for the holiday season.

This Princeton holiday tradition brings together the 20-plus resident members of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center plus guest artists in an all-star lineup performing one of music's most enduring masterpieces all in one evening, held in the historic Richardson Auditorium.

Messiah joins the American Repertory Ballet's Nutcracker and McCarter's production of Dickens' A Christmas Carol to constitute an unofficial "Holiday Season Troika" at McCarter. For the second consecutive year, McCarter join forces with the New Jersey Symphony to offer Handel's masterpiece at Richardson Auditorium on the Princeton University campus. This performance is a joint presentation of McCarter Theatre and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Don't miss one of the final appearances of Jacques LaCombe with the NJSO.
