Kean Stage presents Jubilation, an uplifting performance of Gospel choir music under the direction of Reverend Stefani R. Minatee on Sunday, January 15 at 4:00 pm in Kean University's Gene & Shelley Enlow Recital Hall. Jubilation is an aggregation of culturally diverse singers, founded in 1998. Last year, the group celebrated its 12th anniversary with extraordinary events, including the group's participation on the EMI compilation CD Oh Happy Day with Queen Latifah, which earned them the GRAMMY Award.

The group's joyous rendition of traditional gospel music was heard in their performance at Super Bowl XLIV, performing once again with Latifah. Reverend Minatee received the Stellar Award in Nashville and Jubilation's music has been performed and celebrated across the country. Their latest release, "The Launch Out Project" is available nationwide, and secured a nomination for the 2009 Stellar Awards. (www.justjubilation.com)

(NARAS). Members of NARAS nominate and vote for the GRAMMY Awards. She is also sought after vocal coach and vocal arranger, authoring and catalogued more than 100 songs.

"I rely on the strong qualities modeled and instilled in me by my family, most notably by my maternal grandmother, the late Hattie Mollie Tucker and my mother "PEarl Tucker Minatee," said Reverend Minatee. "I thank God for every opportunity, and I live by the motto 'Only What You Do For Christ Will Last'. My favorite slogan, coined by Dr. Bill Cosby is 'As you push forward, pull from behind.'"
