Jeff Foxworthy to make Resorts Casino Hotel Debut 9/25
Resorts Atlantic City Casino Hotel will welcome Blue Collar Comedy star and host of the hit show Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, Jeff Foxworthy in the Superstar Theater on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
Foxworthy's signature "You might be a redneck if..." jokes define being a redneck as possessing a "glorious lack of sophistication." He is the host of the hit show Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, produced and starred in Foxworthy's Big Night Out and performed in an HBO special and two Showtime specials. In addition to teaming up with other megastar comedians, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy in the highly successful Blue Collar Comedy franchise, Foxworthy is the largest-selling comedy recording artist in history. The trio starred in the hugely popular sketch comedy show Blue Collar TV on the WB Network; the Blue Collar Comedy Tour; and the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie; in addition to other Blue Collar Comedy ventures. The soundtrack to a follow-up tour, One for the Road in Washington, DC was nominated for a Grammy Award.
The multi-talented actor and comedian has written more than two dozen books, including several New York Times Bestsellers. Foxworthy was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards, Broadcast Personality of the Year from CMA, a Cable ACE award and won the People's Choice Award for "Favorite Male Newcomer."
In addition to his comedy, he has released a line of greeting cards and specialty products through American Greetings, calendars through Andrews McMeel Publishing, beef jerky, barbeque sauce and "You might be a redneck if..." video slot games.
