Marc G. Dalio, Christine Marie Heath, Daniel Vissers and Emily Cara Portune star in the Bickford Theatre's 15th Anniversary Season opening production of the Off Broadway musical comedy hit, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

Performances play Sept. 24-Oct. 18. Opening is Friday, Sept. 25.

Eric Hafen, Artistic Director of the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum, 6 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown, NJ, directs this first professional New Jersey production since the musical finished its record-breaking Off Broadway run of 5,003 performances.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a hilarious musical celebration of the modern-day mating game. Everything you ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws (but were afraid to admit!) is finally exposed in this musical comedy joyride that has won rave reviews and thrilled audiences in 400 cities worldwide including Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, London, Tel Aviv, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Budapest, Sydney, Prague, Seoul, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, Dublin, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Tokyo, Manila, Wiesbaden, and Heidelberg. With book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is the second-longest running Off Broadway musical ever.

The musical was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Off-Broadway musical in 1997 and has been translated into 13 languages including Hebrew, Spanish, Dutch, Hungarian, Czech, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Portuguese, German, Catalan, Finnish and Mandarin.

Marc G. Dalio has starred as Gaston and the Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Broadway National Tour, Regional and Germany). Christine Marie Heath has appeared with The New YorK Gilbert and Sullivan Players at City Center and internationally with Teatro Lirico di Cagliari in Sardinia, Italy, La Gran Theatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Spain, and the title role in Evita in German at The Musik Theater Chur in Switzerland. Daniel Vissers' New York credits include Mall Story at the Cherry Lane Theater, Cratchett Farm at Dillon's, and Lyle in Lyle, Lyle Crocodile for TheatreworksUSA. Emily Cara Portune recently rocked the stages of America as Janis Joplin in the national tour of Beehive: The ‘60's Musical.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change ‘s creative team includes Warren Helms (musical director), Laurie Piro (choreographer), Bill Motyka (scenic design), Roman Klima (lighting design), Roxie Zeek (costume design), Alison Goessling (sound design) and Yumi Matsuura (stage manager). Diane Montalbine, who performed as violinist on the original cast recording, will repeat her musical duties at the Bickford.

Performances are Thursdays at 8 p.m. (1st two weeks) and 2 p.m (final two weeks), Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $40 to $20. Lunch and dinner packages and group discounts are available.

The Bickford Theatre is conveniently located within the Morris Museum and offers free parking and full accessibility. Box Office hours for phone sales are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-up hours are Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
