Holmdel Theatre Company Hosts Parent's Open House at Duncan Smith Theater 2/17
If you would like to learn more about the opportunities available at the Holmdel Theatre Company, please come to our Parent's Open House on Wednesday, February 17 at 7:00pm at the Duncan Smith Theater (on the grounds of the high school). Tour the theater, meet some of our artists and staff, ask questions and discover the world of possibility that awaits!
The Holmdel Theatre Company offers dedicated high school theater students a chance to work alongside our skilled team of artists in a professional setting. Whether on the stage or behind the scenes, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of actors, directors, designers and stage crew.
There are many exciting opportunities for Holmdel High School students to become part of our 2010 season. We will be casting some roles in each of our three main stage productions from students at the high school level. This is a rare and amazing opportunity for students to work alongside professional equity adult actors and directors. We will also be looking for assistant stage managers, running crew, lighting board operators and many other technical positions for students interested in apprenticeships.
HTC is excited to introduce two actor workshops specifically designed for high school students aged 13 to 19 who would like to study their craft under the tutelage of professional actors and directors. These workshops are being offered free of charge in accordance with our mission to provide opportunities to committed young students of the theater. No audition is necessary.
