HOUSE AT POOH CORNER to Sweeten Kelsey Theatre This Spring
Young audiences are invited to spend an afternoon in the woods as "The House at Pooh Corner" comes to Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre.
The show is presented by Virginia Repertory Theatre as part of the Kelsey Kids Series on Saturday, April 22 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor Campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.
Faithfully based on the 1928 A. A. Milne classic, Winnie-the-Pooh and friends make a visit to the magical Hundred Acre Wood in a tale of imagination, fun and friendship. This charming musical introduces a new generation to the Pooh story, proving that the lessons shared by Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and Christopher Robin are truly timeless. Young and old alike are reminded that "...Of course, it isn't really good-bye, because the forest will always be there... and anybody who is friendly with bears can find it."
Virginia Repertory Theatre (formerly Theatre IV) is an award-winning nonprofit professional theater company that has been producing high quality children's shows since 1975. Based in Richmond, Va., the traveling company tours from Wisconsin to Florida and Texas to Maine, while also presenting major productions in its home city.
