The students of Fairleigh Dickinson University's Visual and Performing Arts Department will be participating in the upcoming production, Trelawny of the Wells, December 7th-11th under the direction of Stephen Hollis.

Travel back in time to the Victorian era and follow Rose Trelawny, a popular melodrama star, as she gives up the stage to marry the love of her life, Arthur Gower. Life with Gower is not what she thought it would be though and great conflict ensues. Join the two lovers, a group of actors and a strict elderly pair for a night of laughter and romance.

Written by Arthur Wing Pinero, it is said to be his love letter to the theatre as you join Rose Trelawny's journey throughout a year with troubadours and the Gowers at her side. Trelawny of the Wells is a celebration of the magic, exuberance, the melodrama, the music and the alluring joy of the Victorian stage.

The show features 17 Fairleigh Dickinson University student actors ranging from Freshmen to Seniors. The production will take place in the Dreyfuss Theater located on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, College at Florham. The opening performance will take place on December 7 at 8:00 p.m.
