Exit 82 Theatre to Present HEATHERS

Join Exit 82 Theatre for the opening of their eighth season with HEATHERS The Musical! HEATHERS The Musical is the darkly delicious adaptation of the 1988 cult classic movie, Heathers. Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather's aerobicized ass... but J.D. has another plan for the bullet... Are you in, or are you out?

Performances run Thursday, April 14 at 7pm, Friday, April 15 at 8pm, Saturday April 16 at 2pm and 8pm and Sunday, April 17 at 2pm. All performances will be held at the historic Strand Center for the Arts in downtown Lakewood. This gorgeous theater boasts plush velvet seating, breathtaking architecture, a spacious lobby, extensive concessions, and free parking lots conveniently located across the street! Exit 82 Theatre Company is a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre organization based in Toms River, NJ. In January 2016, Exit 82 won two BroadwayWorld NJ awards for Best Choreography and Best Set Design for ROCK OF AGES produced last summer. They were also voted Ocean County's "Best Community Theatre" in 2014 and one of the "Best Community Theatres" in 2015. Founded in 2008, Exit 82 has involved hundreds of volunteers and performed to thousands of patrons in NJ over the past eight seasons.
