Eagle Theatre Children's Camp to Present Disney's SLEEPING BEAUTY, 7/27-29
The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, has a small number of spots remaining for registration for its 2012 Summer Theatre Camp for Kids.
The camp, which is open to children ages 9-14, will run from July 2 to July 26 (excluding July 4). It will be held Monday through Thursday from 9am-3pm. No prior acting experience is necessary.
During the camp, local professionals will give students an introduction to various aspects of the theatre, including acting, set design, and technical elements. Under the direction of Mr. Rich Curcio, they will rehearse for an actual production, which will run at 7pm on July 27 and 28, and 3pm on July 29. This year, the students of the Summer Camp will perform Disney’s Sleeping Beauty (Kids). This show, which is specifically intended for young beginning actors and actresses, will be performed on the Eagle Theatre stage to a public audience.
The total cost of the summer camp is $400. For more information, or for registration, parents and guardians should contact the Eagle Theatre at (609) 704-5012.
