EVIE'S WALTZ Comes To New Jersey Rep, Opens 6/18

From the author of Women Who Steal and the director of The Housewives of Mannheim comes a contemporary thriller about a serious subject, young people who feel alienated from society and within their own family.

Gloria and Clay Matthews are confronted with a problem. Their son Danny and his girlfriend Evie have been suspended from school because of a police matter. As they prepare a barbeque and await a meeting with Evie's mom to discuss their course of action, they are surprised when Evie suddenly appears by herself.

Pressures start to mount as secrets are revealed, turning their backyard picnic into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse.

A Pop-Culture Romeo and Juliet

Directed by Suzanne Barabas, Evie's Waltz stars Andrea Gallo (tempOdyssey, Tilt Angel), Warren Kelley (The Little Hours) and newcomer, Kate Kenney as Evie.

Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 3pm and 8pm; and Sundays at 2pm, June 18 thru July 26. Specially priced previews are on Thursday and Friday, June 18 and 19 at 2pm and 8pm. The June 18th matinee will be followed by a talk-back with the cast and director. Saturday, June 20 at 8pm is opening night and will be followed by a reception.

Tickets for adults are $40; Previews, Seniors, Students are $35; Opening night with reception is $60. Discounts are available to groups of 10 or more.
