DATE OF A LIFETIME to Open 3/6 at NJ Rep
"Date of a Lifetime" is a new musical with book and lyrics by Carl Kissin and music by Robert Baumgartner, Jr. Director/choreographer Marlo Hunter teams up with musical director Daniel Rein and the talents of Jamie LaVerdiere and Trisha Rapier to bring us a fresh, contemporary, look at dating.
Marvin (LaVerdiere) and Katie (Rapier) have been around the block when it comes to the dating scene. Pessimistic, yet undaunted, they are thrown together while speed dating. During their brief tryst they each imagine what their lives together might be. Will this modern rendezvous turn out to be a date from hell, or the date of a lifetime?
Produced in association with Hat on a Hat, LLC. NJ Rep is located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch, just minutes from the Jersey Shore. Call 732-229-3166 or visit www.njrep.org.
