Broadway Theatre of Pitman Announces Auditions for JOSEPH, 3/28

The Broadway Theatre of Pitman will hold open auditions (by appt.) for 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' on March 28, 2010 from 2pm-5pm - at 57 South Broadway, 3 doors up from the theatre.

Versatile musical performers needed for non-traditional, rock-style production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat directed by Drew Molotsky. We will be casting one adult, one teen and one child vocalist (all female) in the role of the Narrator. Strong belt a must. We are looking for 3 voices to compliment each other for the narrators: a child 8-12, a teen 13-17, and an adult 18+. For remaining roles, we are looking for strong vocalists ages 16 and up with ability to perform various musical styles. Ability to play an instrument a plus. Seeking 12-14 men and 6 women for ensemble cast to portray various roles and rock/pop music icons.

Please PREPARE a vocal selection showing your range in a rock-musical style. Callbacks by invitation to follow open call. No readings. Dance only as needed. This is a Non-Union Job, a small stipend will be paid. Please supply a headshot and resume, come prepared with sheet music in your key or back track, no vocals on cd please.
