Axelrod Performing Arts Center Receives $10K Grant From The Kearny Bank Foundation
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC) recently received a $10,000 grant from the Kearny Bank Foundation to help further APAC's mission of fostering artistic excellence by showcasing varied and distinct cultural programs that enrich the imaginative, intellectual, and creative soul, while cultivating an appreciation of diverse communities through the pursuit of the arts.
"What started out as a small community theater has grown into New Jersey's newest professional theater offering first-rate musical and ballet theater productions, concerts, film festivals, and other special events," said Axelrod CEO Jess Levy. "We also provide outstanding youth arts education programs. We're profoundly appreciative of Kearny Bank Foundation's grant because it allows us to continue our effort to bring first-in-class artistic programming to central New Jersey."

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center is a 501-c3 organization. Funding for the organization comes from generous individuals, foundations, and grants that enable the arts center to present year-round programming, including educational classes and workshops with professionals from the performing arts world.
