Astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson Appears at NJPAC Tonight

Astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, former host of NOVA ScienceNOW on PBS, best-selling author and director of the Hayden Planetarium, brings the expanses of modern science direct to audience members at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC)'s Prudential Hall tonight, December 2, 2014 at 7:30 PM. The renowned science communicator has guided the "Ship of the Imagination" to transport viewers to the nucleus of an atom and the farthest reaches of the universe as he explores humanity's quest for understanding. Each family-friendly event features a multi-media presentation and a Q&A that rivals the program itself: In the past, Tyson has been asked questions ranging from TV appearances and space elevators to parenting advice.

Tyson is host of StarTalk Radio and is the best-selling author of 10 books. A frequent guest on The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, he is the recipient of 18 honorary doctorates and the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal, the highest award given by NASA to non-government citizens.
