The Second and Vine Players will perform the staged version of the courtroom classic A Few Good Men at the Eagle Theatre, located on 208 Vine St. in Hammonton, at 8pm on November 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 & 19, and 2pm on November 13.

Patrons familiar with the 1992 film adaptation, which starred Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore, can look forward to enjoying the same humor, drama, and urgent reflection on duty and honor when they see the Second and Vine Players bring this production to life on stage.

The Eagle Theatre and Second and Vine Players, as part of the Friday, Nov. 11 performance, will mark Veterans Day with a special celebration honoring all veterans and current members of the military. In addition, veterans and current military will receive a discount for all performances of this production.

A Few Good Men stars a number of actors and actresses from around the South Jersey region, including a number of veterans. Roman Lupan of Marlton, NJ will play the lead role of Lt. JG Daniel Kaffee, the sarcastic, untried lawyer who leads the defense in a court martial of two young marines. He will be joined onstage by such familiar faces as Joe Cooper, who starred in Second and Vine's recent production of To Kill a Mockingbird and will play the role of Markinson in this production. Cooper served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years, and also served during the Vietnam War. He is proud to perform onstage alongside his daughter, Kellie Cooper. Other members of the cast include James Eckstein (Lance Corporal Dawson), who served in the Marines from 1996-2000, and Bill Best (Judge Randolph), who served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958.

Tickets for this event are $18 for adults and $16 for seniors, military/veterans, and children. They can be purchased online at TheEagleTheatre.com. For more information, please contact the Eagle Theatre at (609) 704-5012.
