4th Wall Theatre, a non union professional theatre in Bloomfield, NJ is presenting Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years. The show premiered at the Northlight Theatre in Chicago in 2001 and was later produced Off-Broadway in 2002. The show won the 2002 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music and Lyrics and was received nominations for both Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle Awards. 4th Wall's production will be directed by Kate Swan.

The Last Five Years chronicles the five-year life of a marriage, from meeting to break-up, or break-up to meeting, depending on how you look at it. It is an intensely personal look at the relationship between a rising novelist, and a struggling actress, from both of their points of view-his going forward, and hers going back.

Markus Hauck is the musical director for 4th Wall's production and the show features Danny Arnold as Jamie Wellerstein and Madeline Fansler as Catherine Hiatt.

The show will have a limited 3-night run at the Westminster Arts Center in Bloomfield on Friday and Saturday, October 23, 24 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 pm. More information is available at www.4thwalltheatre.org. Tickets are $25 (General), $22 (Seniors) and $18 (Students), and can be purchased online at www.4thwalltheatre.org or reserved at 973-566-9255.
