New Daniel Radcliffe Film JUNGLE Comes to River Street Theatre This Weekend

The River Street Theatre (RST), a project of The Park Theatre, will be presenting Daniel Radcliffe's newest film, JUNGLE this Friday and Saturday, November 3 & 4, both days at 7pm and Sunday, November 5 at 2 pm.
Pontine Theatre presents T. S. Eliot's FOUR QUARTET

Pontine Theatre opens its 40th Season with a solo staging of T. S. Eliot's FOUR QUARTETS performed by John Farrell. Mr. Farrell is the founding co-director of Portland Maine's celebrated Figures of Speech Theater. Performances are: Friday 3 November at 7pm; Saturday 4 November at 4pm; and Sunday 5 November at 2pm. Tickets are $24 and may be purchased online at www.pontine.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the door a half-hour prior to each performance, based on availability. The performance takes place at the Newington Old Town Hall, located at 336 Nimble Hill Road, Newington NH.
New Hampshire Theatre Project Receives Four Prestigious Arts Grants

New Hampshire Theatre Project is the proud recipient of four different grants this fall, totaling over $30,000. The NH State Council on the Arts, with funding support from the National Endowment for the Arts, has awarded NHTP a two-year Public Value Partnership Grant, which includes $9,100 of operating support for both 2017 and 2018. NHTP has also been awarded a $5,000 Community Project Grant from the NH Charitable Foundation to fund consultant Ann Hopkins of Mather Associates, who is assisting NHTP in planning a capital campaign to purchase the West End Studio Theatre.

London's Royal Opera House recent production (ended October 14) of Mozart's opera masterpiece, The Magic Flute will be shown in HD at the River Street Theatre (RST) in Jaffrey Sunday, October 29 and on Wednesday, November 1. This presentation is part of the RST's Stage2Screen Series. The opera was first presented at Vienna's Theater auk der Wieden in 1791.
